Architecture and Engineering
AEPAC is a multidisciplinary firm of architects and engineers executing projects with technical expertise.
At AEPAC, our team works in harmony to ensure that all aspects of the design are carefully coordinated and thoroughly addressed. With extensive experience on Department of Defense and other federal projects, our team consistently delivers work on time and within budget. We believe in prompt attention to feedback, strategic involvement of subject matter experts, and a commitment to meeting project milestones.
This teamwork involves:
Interdisciplinary Coordination:
Architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and other specialists must work together closely to align all facets of the design, ensuring efficiency and consistency across disciplines.
Project Management:
A Project Manager (PM) often serves as the bridge between the architecture and engineering teams, keeping track of timelines, budgets, and quality control.

Design-Build & Design-Bid-Build Expertise
AEPAC has demonstrated experience as the Designer of Record for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects. Past experience includes airport design, historic structures, and facilities upgrades. The delivery of MILCON project documentation, Functional Analysis Concept Development/Design Charrettes; Final Design construction documents; technical surveys including site engineering investigation, hazardous material survey, Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis, and Post Construction Award Services.
Civil Engineering Division
AEPAC has an in-house civil engineering department with key personnel civil engineers with over twenty years of experience working in Honolulu. By creating this New Division, it has expanded its capability in the professional field and is able to provide the highest level of service for your next project. Projects will be comprehensively developed with civil engineering as the base point for project planning.
Capabilities include: site and installation utility design including water distribution, storage and pumping, wastewater collection system design for tropical corrosive environments; hydraulic analysis, storm water collection system design; site development, earthwork, grading and drainage; roadway (geometric) design and traffic engineering (street lighting and traffic signals) and anti-terrorism/force protection.
Cyber Security Design for Buildings
Building design is a crucial component to creating a safe and secure server room and other work environments where computer use is high. AEPAC has IT systems management in building design to integrate these systems into your new design:
Cooling system
Properly designing for sufficient cooling
Power consumption & communication channels
Calculate the redundancy level
Waterproofing
Providing a drainage system and isolating the room from water.
Physical security
An important detail that is often forgotten.
Firefighting
Designing fire extinguishing systems suitable for server rooms
Ventilation & server room climate
Creating filtration systems to prevent harmful dusty air
Dispatching
Building design that alerts computer IT personnel of fire and other attacks
Disaster Recovery & Resilience
Onsite and offsite backups, redundancy infrastructure, secondary data centers, and geographically distributed systems ensure recovery plans can be executed quickly and efficiently in the event of a disaster.
